2What Is A Cookie
A cookie is a small piece of data a site asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Sites use them to remember who you are, what you chose, or where you came from.
3Cookies We Use
Apart from the one that remembers your answer, this site sets cookies only once you accept the matching category in the banner shown on your first visit. Declining, or not answering, keeps every one of them off. The cookies below are set by the service providers we use to run this site.

Our analytics provider also records how this site is used - clicks, scrolling and mouse movement - so we can see where the page confuses people. It does not record what you type into form fields. That recording runs whether or not you accept: if you decline, it runs without cookies, which means it cannot recognise you on a return visit and each page you open counts as a visit of its own. Our providers may also set cookies of their own on their own domains once you accept; those are theirs, and their own cookie notices are the authoritative account of them.
Our consent management provider is what shows you the banner and keeps the record of your answer. That record is the strictly necessary cookie in the table above, together with a log on their side showing that the choice was offered and what it was.
4Your Choices
Choose what to accept on the banner the first time you visit. To change your mind later, use the Cookie settingslink in the footer of every page: it reopens the same panel, shows what you chose last time, and takes effect as soon as you save it. You can also block or delete any of the cookies above directly through your browser at any time. Declining stops the cookies, not the cookieless recording described above; if you would rather not be recorded at all, your browser's tracking protection or a blocking extension can stop it.
